To join the Inchyra Spitfires flag football team, you need to be between 7-17 years of age. Our program is designed to empower youth through flag football training and community engagement, offering a safe and supportive environment for developing athletic skills, teamwork, and sportsmanship. Whether you're new to the game or looking to hone your abilities, our team is dedicated to helping each player grow both on and off the field.

Membership at Inchyra Spitfires is £15 per month, with payment due on the first of each month. As a special offer, your first three training sessions are absolutely free. This allows new members to experience our empowering flag football training and community engagement without any initial financial commitment. By joining Inchyra Spitfires, you'll be part of a supportive community dedicated to youth development through flag football.

At Inchyra Spitfires, the safety and well-being of the children in our program are our utmost priority. All of our coaches hold current, up-to-date qualifications in American football, ensuring they provide the highest quality training. In addition, our coaches are well-versed in safeguarding and duty of care principles. They are PVG registered, certified in first aid, trained in emergency cardiac procedures, and recognized as members of the CLD (Community Learning and Development) council. These measures collectively ensure a safe, supportive, and enriching environment for every child involved in our flag football program.

For your first flag football practice with the Inchyra Spitfires, it is essential to come prepared with the following items: suitable football boots without metal studs for safe play on the field, shorts or trousers without pockets to prevent interference during the game, and a gumshield to protect your teeth. Additionally, bring water to stay hydrated throughout the practice. Rest assured, all other necessary equipment, including flags and practice gear, will be provided by the Inchyra Spitfires. Our goal is to ensure that everyone is well-equipped and ready to enjoy an empowering and engaging training session.
